University of Graz in Graz, Austria, invites applications for a recognised researcher in the Department of Physics to advance fusion energy research and plasma diagnostics. You will lead experimental and theoretical work, supervise students, develop new funded projects, and contribute to publications and conferences.

The position requires a PhD in physics with focus on plasma and fusion physics, strong IT and programming skills, and excellent German and English.

• Completed doctoral or Ph.D. degree in physics, ideally with a focus on plasma and fusion physics

• Experience raising and managing externally funded projects
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Very strong IT and programming skills
• Ability to participate in teaching and grading activities in the field of experimental physics
• Enthusiasm for scientific work and for interacting with students

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70,200.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
