Qualifikationen

Your personal sphere of play:

The Institute for Religious Education is a sub-unit of the Faculty of Protestant Theology. The vacant position as a university assistant (postdoc) serves to strengthen our teaching and research portfolio. We are looking for Protestant theologians with a special interest in research questions in religious education.

We are a research-active institute, value an inspiring working atmosphere and offer a flexible working environment. The duration of the employment contract is 6 years.

Your future tasks:
  • Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:
  • Collaboration in research tasks, teaching and administrative tasks that are the responsibility of the organizational unit/subunit to which they are assigned;
  • Collaboration in examinations;
  • Collaboration on organizational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures;
  • Supervision of students;
  • Independent research activities;
  • Independent teaching of courses and holding of examinations in accordance with the assignment.
This is part of your personality:
  • Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Protestant theology; a keen interest in religious education, a willingness to attend and organize national and international conferences and to work in a team, and good IT user skills;
  • A strong interest in interdisciplinary exchange with neighboring disciplines;
  • Experience with or interest in empirical methods;
  • Experience in school or extracurricular religious education work;
  • Ideas for your own habilitation project
