Erste Group invites graduates to join the Trainee program in Custody and Settlement in Vienna. You will explore delivery vs. payment monitoring, trade confirmations, securities realignments, and custody client support as part of a 18-month group graduate programme.

The role targets university graduates with a Bachelor (Master preferred) and 1–2 years in finance, emphasising customer focus, teamwork, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic bank environment.

Qualifications

• University degree (min. Bachelor, preferably Master) in business administration, law or equivalent education.
• First working experience in the financial industry in a junior position or internship (1–2 years max).
• Good customer orientation, team player, able to handle stress and set priorities.

One trainee will be based in the departmentCustody and Settlement. This department consists of three desks focusing on the depositary bank role, as well as handling securities realignments to process exceptions within securities settlement.

Your Background

• A university degree (min. Bachelor, preferably Master degree) in business administration, law or equivalent education
