Qualifikationen

For our team in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and versatile expert in the role of technology expert with a strong security background to strengthen the information, technology, and cyber resilience governance across the entire Vontobel Group, including all locations and companies.

What would your role be?

• Implementation and operation of automated technology and cyber risk processes derived from its governance risk and compliance frameworks.
• Operationalization of the technology and cyber security control framework.
• Operation of the company-wide business continuity program.
• Coordination and management of operational incidents including regulatory reviews, audits and remediation activities.
• Optimization of internal and external service delivery with a focus on efficiency, quality, resilience and reliability.
• Review of information technology infrastructure, data flows/processes, and operating procedures in accordance with established standards for efficiency, accuracy, security and risk mitigation.
• Coordination across Technology, Business and relevant control functions to effectively manage technology risks, dependencies, critical services and regulatory obligations.

What are we looking for?

• A degree in computer science, information technology, cyber-security, risk management, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of IT architecture, IT Frameworks, IT processes, IT control standards, trends and practices.
• A creative and innovative mindset, with a willingness to challenge traditional security approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
• Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage, preferably in financial services (FINMA, DORA, SEC, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization and/or with non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in both German and English is highly desirable.
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.

Location Requirement

This role is based in Zurich but will move to Baar in 2030, ensuring close alignment with key stakeholders in the business.
