Foxmont Talent is seeking an IT Security Architect for a Ticino-based, hybrid, permanent role. The position focuses on shaping security architecture across applications, infrastructure and platforms, aligned with regulatory standards and modern principles.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to embed security into design and development, applying Zero Trust and Defence in Depth across projects. Fluency in English and Italian is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Security Architecture or senior security role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security and secure design.
• Experience with risk assessments and threat modelling.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA or TOGAF are beneficial.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Security.

About the Opportunity

A technology-driven Swiss organisation operating within a highly secure and regulated environment is looking for an experienced IT Security Architect to strengthen its security function.

The organisation operates a complex technology landscape where security, resilience and continuous modernisation are central to its operations.

You will play an important role in shaping security architecture across applications, infrastructure and technology platforms, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout the design and development of new solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and develop IT security architecture standards.


• Design and review secure systems and applications.


• Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling.


• Apply Zero Trust and Defence in Depth principles.


• Ensure alignment with security and regulatory frameworks.


• Advise technical teams on security architecture.


• Assess new technologies and security risks.


• Support strategic architecture decisions.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Security Architecture or a similar senior security role.


• Strong knowledge of enterprise security and secure solution design.


• Experience with risk assessments and threat modelling.


• Knowledge of NIST and modern security principles.


• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is advantageous.


• CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or similar certification is beneficial.


• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Security.


• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder skills.


• Professional English language skills.


• Italian language skills are highly advantageous.
