Technician Cable & Prototype Assembly f/m/d (Parental Leave Replacement, part time) Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Soldering connectors such as SUB-D, C91, Lemo, and others, as well as crimping wire end ferrules, cable lugs, and contacts of all kinds
• Manufacturing BNC cables in custom lengths, as well as manufacturing special and prototype cables for development and customer projects
• Performing cable tests using cable testers ( e.g. continuity, short circuit and assignment tests)
• Pre-assembly and assembly of modules for various mechatronic components
• Close coordination and clarification with the material planning and order handling departments

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (Secondary Technical College or Master Craftsman) with a focus on electrical engineering or mechatronics
• At least 3 years of professional experience in cable assembly, component assembly, or manufacturing of mechatronic systems or similar is desirable
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and parts lists
• Experience in cable assembly, soldering, and crimping desirable
• Careful, structured, and quality-conscious approach to work
• Motivation and reliability
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Very good knowledge in German and basic knowledge in English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €41,200.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
