Stora Enso is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Project & Technical Sales Team. Your location will be in one of our mills – in Bad St. Leonhard or Ybbs an der Donau, Austria or Home office in Germany. You will work in the Wood Products Division.

Stora Enso is a leading global provider of renewable solutions based on wood and biomass for various industries, supporting the bioeconomy and the demand for eco-friendly products.

The Wood Products division offers solutions for building and housing, including wood elements, modules, components, pellets, and sawn timber, mainly serving construction and retail customers.

You will be responsible for elaborating requests for quotation and providing technical advice for mass timber buildings. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will report to the Project & Technical Sales Team Leader and collaborate with team members across Europe.

The role involves being the main contact for business development managers, sales managers, and customers, answering queries, providing technical advice, and preparing quantity take-offs for new offers.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Understanding customer needs from drawings, sketches, or project info.
  2. Following processes for Building Solution offers and cost estimations.
  3. Providing pre-sales support: creating scheme designs, structural calculations, 3D models, quantity take-offs, and feasibility studies.
  4. Using pricing tools for value-added products.
  5. Maintaining CRM data for offer management.
  6. Offering technical advice on building components based on customer info.
  7. Implementing offer info into ERP system for offer creation and data processing.
  8. Reporting time spent on request elaboration.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or university degree in civil engineering or similar.
  2. Experience in timber construction is a plus.
  3. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Cadwork, etc.).
  4. Fluent German and English skills.
  5. Proactive, customer-focused attitude.
  6. Ability to analyze customer info and find solutions.
  7. Strong communication skills.
  8. Team player with interpersonal skills.
