Join our Turbo Generator team in Weiz as a Technical Proposal & Sales Engineer (f/m/d) and take on a key role in supporting international service projects with your technical and commercial expertise.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on industry experience
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (esp. synchronous generators) is a plus
• Strong commercial and technical acumen
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Fluency in English (spoken & written) is mandatory & solid German skills
• Open mindset, able to work effectively with different cultures
• Team player with an analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow within the organization
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (SAP preferred)
• Travel internationally up to 20–30% post-onboarding

YOUR TASKS

• Develop technical and commercial offers for service projects (overhauls, upgrades, LTSAs)
• Define scope of work based on customer needs, equipment condition, and internal capabilities
• Leading the full tendering process: from cost calculation to final proposal submission
• Present and negotiate solutions with international clients
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, procurement, and workshop teams
• Maintain proposal tools, pricing databases, and templates
• Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic account planning
• Support project handovers and long-term service agreements

We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 3,665.31 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
