Join our Turbo Generator team in Weiz as a Technical Proposal & Sales Engineer (f/m/d) and support international service projects with your technical and commercial expertise.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment (esp. synchronous generators) is a plus
  • Strong commercial and technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a collaborative approach
  • Fluency in English (spoken & written) and solid German skills
  • Open mindset, effective with different cultures
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, eager to grow
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (SAP preferred)
  • Willing to travel internationally up to 20–30% post-onboarding

YOUR TASKS

  • Develop technical and commercial offers for service projects (overhauls, upgrades, LTSAs)
  • Define scope of work based on customer needs and equipment condition
  • Lead the full tendering process: from cost calculation to proposal submission
  • Present and negotiate solutions with international clients
  • Collaborate with engineering, field service, procurement, and workshop teams
  • Maintain proposal tools, pricing databases, and templates
  • Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic planning
  • Support project handovers and long-term service agreements

We state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position as gross €3,665.31 per month, but offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and experience.
