Samsung SDI Battery Systems in Kalsdorf near Graz is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate ambitious battery development projects for e-mobility, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with system requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Testing and Manufacturing, discuss progress with customers, and travel as needed. The role offers a competitive salary starting at EUR 65,000 gross and a modern European technology center.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of project management experience in product development, ideally in automotive or e-mobility, with experience using Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
• IPMA Level C certification is an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding of complex systems and product development, ideally with battery development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in cross-functional and international teams.
• Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style, with fluent German and English and a willingness to travel.

• Lead and manage product development projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, managing schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables while mitigating risks.
• Drive technical project execution by coordinating engineering activities with system requirements and development processes.
• Monitor technical maturity, project progress, and risk status; support technical decision-making with engineering experts.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers and internal/external stakeholders with regular project status reporting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Testing and Manufacturing for seamless execution across all development phases.
• Support change and risk management activities and contribute to successful industrialization of new products.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your Mission

• Lead and manage product development projects, ensuring deliveryon time, within budget, and according to quality, performance, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, managing project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Drive technical project executionby coordinating engineering activities and ensuring alignment withsystem requirements, platform strategies, and established development processes.
• Monitor technical maturity, project progress, and risk status, supporting technical decision-making while working closely with engineering experts.
• Act as the primary technical interfacefor customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and regularproject status reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Testing, and Manufacturingto ensure seamless project execution across all development phases.
• Support change and risk management activitieswhile contributing to the successful industrialization of new products.

Your Expertise

• Completed technical education(HTL, FH, or University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
