Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Product Compliance Officer, you will act as a consultant, collaborating closely with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management to ensure CE-Conformity and Compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role contributes to the Process Industries division and is located in Baden-City, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Act as an internal consultant on compliance-related matters and provide guidance on regulatory requirements, closely collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with conformity standards.
• Monitor and update compliance processes to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices (mainly machinery directive, low voltage directive and EMC directive).
• Provide training and support to teams on conformity and compliance requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in industrial or electrical engineering, additional education as technical writing is a plus.
• Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.
• Experience in product compliance as well as understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodology.
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills in English.
• Attention to detail.
