The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers' installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The Impact You’ll Make

Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale, via telephone, email, chat, or through other social media platforms. Supports the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals. Collaborates with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate accounts of equipment failures and provides reports to management. The focus of work may be in pre-sale, post-sale, or both.

What You’ll Do

• Work with instructional designers and semiconductor equipment subject-matter experts to develop accurate and scalable mixed reality training scenarios.
• Use industry-standard software toolsets to develop scalable, VR-ready 3D CAD models based on internal CAD equipment models.
• Develop a workflow from the CAD environment to the final VR-based project that is successful and achievable.
• Assist with annual updates to existing VR modules to ensure accuracy.
• Establish and maintain a library of VR-ready models and reusable VR-specific code and scenes.
• Recommend mixed reality toolsets and best practices for future-proofing development efforts.
• Troubleshoot VR hardware/software issues remotely and in the classroom.
• Provide guidance and training to other internal VR developers.

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, in occupation groups D or E depending on educational background. A higher salary is negotiable based on education, expertise, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
