Digt AG is seeking a Deputy Head of Logistics to lead the goods‑in team of about 10 staff and support rapid growth in a Swiss e‑commerce scale‑up.

You will manage day‑to‑day goods receipt, inspection and stock‑taking while driving improvements and ensuring quality. This role requires leadership experience and strong German communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Several years’ professional experience in logistics, ideally in the e‑commerce sector.
• At least 1 year’s management experience or demonstrable leadership qualities (team leadership, shift supervision, acting in a managerial capacity)
• Proficiency in using digital systems and MS Office
• Clear written and spoken communication in German (minimum B2 level).

Your main responsibilities

You’ll be involved in day-to-day operations right from the start – and will gradually take on the role of deputy team leader:

Logistics: Goods Receipt

• Technical and personnel management, shift planning and the further development of our goods‑in team.
• You will ensure efficient, on‑time goods‑in processes – from goods receipt through to inspection and stock‑taking – whilst maintaining our quality standards.
• You will play an active role in day‑to‑day operations, particularly during peak periods.
• You will identify areas for improvement and implement optimisations independently.
• You will monitor and manage the relevant KPIs for performance measurement.

Your profile

• Several years’ professional experience in logistics, ideally in the e‑commerce sector.
• At least 1 year’s management experience or demonstrable leadership qualities (team leadership, shift supervision, acting in a managerial capacity)
• Proficiency in using digital systems and MS Office
  Clear written and spoken communication in German (minimum B2 level).
• Physical stamina suitable for a busy warehouse environment (predominantly standing work, regular movement and lifting).
