Overview

This role, based at City Fertility’s Newstead head office (Brisbane area), leads a Fertility Advice team within the Fertility Advice department. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, responding to patient enquiries, and assisting with appointment bookings. The position is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in fertility or women’s health and a desire to support patients from their first interaction with City Fertility.

The Opportunity:

City Fertility is seeking an adaptable and effective communicator to join our Fertility Advice team as a Team Leader, reporting to the Fertility Advice Manager. You will lead the team to ensure supportive, informative, and transparent experiences for patients throughout their fertility journey.

Based at our head office in Newstead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients’ first interaction with our business is supportive, informative and transparent.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop and inspire your team to deliver strong results in line with business objectives.
  • Build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and clear, well-reasoned recommendations to senior leaders and reports as needed.
  • Contribute to operational and risk planning to ensure our strategic goals are achieved.
  • Identify opportunities and implement service improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for those enquiring about City Fertility.
  • Process a variety of enquiries from patients.
  • Provide general information on the City Fertility consultation process.

Qualifications & skills we value

  • Previous exposure to supervising, mentoring, or training team members.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently while supporting the wider team.

  • A minimum of 2 years in the health industry or a call centre environment.
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; working knowledge of a CRM is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Basic to Intermediate understanding of Women’s Health or Fertility; experience in the field of ART (IVF) is advantageous.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated excellent time management.
