To strengthen our R&D team, we are currently seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Team Leader, Numerical Simulation & Fluid Dynamics (m/f/d). In this position of responsibility, you will provide technical and organizational leadership for the team (6 people) and play a key role in the further development of our numerical simulation methods and our innovative heat treatment systems.

TASKS

• Technical and organizational leadership of the Numerical and Fluid Dynamics Department
• Responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and executing simulation projects in the fields of fluid mechanics (CFD), heat transfer, thermodynamics, and structural mechanics
• Leading, developing, and coaching team members (6 people)
• Supporting product development through numerical analyses and the derivation of technical optimization measures
• Responsibility for the further development of calculation methods, simulation standards, and digital engineering processes
• Managing cross-functional development projects in collaboration with Design, Research & Development, Manufacturing, and Commissioning
• Presenting and communicating simulation and project results to internal and external stakeholders
• Promoting cross-site collaboration within the EBNER GROUP, as well as monitoring technological trends and identifying new innovation potential in the fields of numerical simulation and digitalization

PROFILE

• Completed technical degree (university or university of applied sciences) with a focus on mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, engineering physics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the field of numerical simulation (CFD and/or FEA), ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
• Initial leadership experience in a similar field
• In-depth knowledge of modern simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Star-CCM+, Fluent, or comparable systems)
• Experience in the development and implementation of simulation methods and engineering processes
• Knowledge of programming and automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or comparable) is a plus
• Very good command of German and English
