NXP Semiconductors in Gratkorn, Austria, seeks a System Validation specialist to design HW setups and lab environments, develop test frameworks, and implement system test cases. You will work with firmware and hardware experts to validate complex UWB-based solutions for automotive, mobile, and industrial applications.

The role emphasizes automation, debugging, and early issue identification, with opportunities to contribute to security-related tasks and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years professional experience in validation and testing.
• Embedded firmware development (test-applications) in C.
• Experience in C# and/or Python.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
• Willingness to work with lab and measurement instruments, evaluation boards and related hardware equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Definition and implementation of HW Setups and Lab Environments.
• Definition and implementation of new features of test frameworks.
• Definition and implementation of system test cases, test firmware and test drivers.
• Execution and automation of system test cases.
• Support of hardware and software experts while debugging identified issues.
• Debugging of system issues; root causing malfunctions; impact analysis
• Creating effort estimates for deliverables
• Contributing to risk assessments for test strategies
• Documenting and presenting results
• Developing proofs of concepts with technical and non-technical experts
