Zusammenfassung

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain detailed specifications, implement robust code in Perl or scripting languages on Linux, and participate in a 24/7 support rotation for manufacturing solutions.

You will design and execute comprehensive tests, ensure quality and security, and work with global cross-functional teams applying DevOps practices and agile methods. A Computer Engineering degree and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

Design, develop and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests and system tests to ensure software meets quality, security, and performance standards.

Provide IT operational support for Process Control Solutions and participate in a 24/7 support rotation for manufacturing solutions, as required.

Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of software systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability and reliability.

Work in cross-functional global teams and follow DevOps practices and methods.

A degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field of studies.

2+ years of hands-on software development experience using Perl or other scripting languages in a Linux environment.

Proven track record of successfully planning, designing, and implementing complex systems.

Knowledge of C# and Windows operating systems is considered a plus.

Proficiency in agile development methods.

Experience within the semiconductor industry is a significant plus, although not mandatory.

Strong communication skills in English.
