Gasworks Medical Practice is looking for a full-time Supervisor / Senior Medical Receptionist to lead our front-desk team for an initial 6-month period — with the opportunity to step up and cover our Practice Manager during an 8 to 12 month maternity leave.

What You’ll Bring:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a medical receptionist or similar role
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Confidence with decision-making and prioritisation
Leadership experience or a strong desire to learn and grow into a leadership role
A commitment to patient confidentiality and professional conduct
Previous team leadership or management experience in a medical practice setting
Knowledge of Best Practice software
Well-developed understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private billing
CPR certificate
Experience triaging patients
Familiarity working with diverse communities such as adolescents, aged care, LGBTQ+, migrants/refugees, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander patients
Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel
