Huawei Austria is seeking a Senior Public Affairs & Communications Manager in Vienna to shape dialogue and influence the future of technology. You will monitor regulatory developments, build strategic stakeholder relationships, and support corporate communications across media and messaging.

The role requires a university degree in Political Science or related field, at least 5 years in public affairs or corporate communications in Austria, fluent German and English, strong networking skills,

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Communications, Law, International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Corporate Communications in Austria preferred.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Aufgaben

• Monitor political and regulatory developments in Austria and assess their impact on Huawei's business.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
• Support Huawei's corporate communications including media relations and messaging.
• Represent Huawei in industry meetings and events to shape the dialogue.
• Lead PR and CSR projects, aligning with business priorities and educational/digital inclusion initiatives.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to ensure coherent public affairs activities.
