Zusammenfassung

Anton Paar in Graz, Austria, is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to balance resources, delivery, quality and cost. You will plan and coordinate production orders, manage assembly workloads, and ensure on-time delivery of our instruments.

You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing and Engineering, define quantities and schedules, prepare demand forecasts, and drive continuous improvement in planning, inventory, and ramp-up of new products.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical or commercial education with a focus on Production, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Professional experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar role is a plus.
• Proficient in SAP PP and MM; strong MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and structured working style with excellent organizational skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a systematic approach and personal responsibility.
• Hands-on mentality, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm for teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Perform technical feasibility checks of customer orders and coordinate delivery scheduling.
• Plan and control production, ensuring timely and capacity-aligned scheduling of manufacturing orders.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and other departments for material availability and supply.
• Define production quantities, delivery schedules and batch sizes per targets and business needs.
• Prepare demand forecasts and coordinate planning with product divisions.
• Ensure timely, transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop measures to improve production efficiency and optimize inventory, lead times and costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and control processes.
• Manage transfer of new products from development into serial production and ramp-up.
• Maintain and update production-related master data in ERP.
