Job summary

Hilti Corporation seeks an Health, Safety & Environmental Manager - Chemicals to embed environmental and chemical management across our global headquarters. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical concepts, drive improvements, and lead implementation with internal and external partners.

Based at our global HQ in Schaan, Liechtenstein, travel is limited. Fluency in German and English is required, and you’ll shape storage, hazardous substances handling, and environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Strong expertise in chemical and hazardous-substance management and regulatory interpretation.
• Proven ability to develop environmental management strategically while driving hands-on implementation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent German and English are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the introduction and assessment of new chemicals through the approval process.
• Own and improve hazardous-substance data and processes in GeSi³ for the Hilti HQ, including safety instructions and documentation.
• Develop environmental and chemical-safety concepts and drive practical implementation with internal/external partners.
• Assess risks, define controls, and translate findings into standards and roadmaps.
• Drive change through clear messaging, stakeholder engagement, and training.
