You will align requirements, drive cost reductions, and negotiate contracts while keeping a close eye on market trends and innovations in procurement. Fluent Business English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business or Engineering with commercial exposure.
• Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategies in a technical environment.
• Experience in electronics & hydraulics procurement is mandatory.
• Fluent in Business English.

We are looking for aStrategic Category Manager, with the position being based at one of our locations in Glattpark/Zurich (Switzerland), Germany or Poland.

Your responsibilities

• Align Aebi Schmidt Group electronics & hydraulics requirements with Key Stakeholders and Manufacturers
• Develop and implement the global electronics & hydraulics strategy and associated specific initiatives (independent role, no team to lead)
• Establish global and regional partnerships and contracts with manufacturers, including in-depth knowledge data base and personal network
• Implement electronics & hydraulics specification reference database and develop standard electronics & hydraulics specifications
• Review and further development of existing as well as selection and qualification of new suppliers and partners (supplier management)
• Drive and realize cost reduction initiatives/projects
• Price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Continuous observation and analysis of global trends in the procurement markets
• Optimization of purchased parts through innovative impulses from key suppliers (early involvement in the product development process)
