Solomons Flooring Gepps Cross is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our established flooring business and drive sales growth across retail and trade markets.

You will manage a small team, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while maintaining showroom standards and efficient operations. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the Director.

Solomons Flooring Gepps Cross is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our established and successful flooring business.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven retail leader who is passionate about sales, customer service and team development. Reporting directly to the Director, you will take ownership of the store's performance, lead a small team, build strong customer relationships and drive sales growth across both retail and trade markets.

We are looking for a hands-on manager who leads from the front, takes accountability for results and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of our Gepps Cross showroom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving sales growth and profitability


• Leading, coaching and developing the sales team


• Managing day-to-day showroom operations


• Building strong relationships with retail, builder and trade customers


• Achieving sales and gross profit targets


• Recruiting, training and managing staff performance


• Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally


• Maintaining high standards of showroom presentation


• Overseeing project coordination and scheduling


• Ensuring operational efficiency and a positive customer experience

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience managing a retail showroom, store or branch, a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

Experience within flooring, tiles, building products, home improvement, hardware, kitchens, bathrooms or trade retail will be highly regarded.
