Who you are

  • You are a Senior IKEA Shopkeeper, preferably with sales experience in Showroom and Markethall or have management experience with other retailers.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering results through people.
  • You are structured with great analytical skills on operational and strategic levels.
  • You can develop knowledge of the local market quickly and make commercial decisions based on this information.
  • You can communicate confidently and clearly in English and German, or are willing to improve your language skills.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop yourself and the business, supporting your journey towards a Sales Manager position.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead one of three Core Areas in the Store with your team of Shopkeepers/Teamleaders.
  • Optimize sales and profitability by acting on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
  • Plan and implement commercial activities to increase sales based on local market potential.
  • Present the IKEA range effectively to satisfy and inspire visitors.
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire your team, fostering a climate of trust and motivation.

The minimum salary is 4,000 gross per month for full-time employment (38.5 hours/week). Flexible working hours and remote work options are available.

Working hours: Flexible from Monday to Saturday, every second Saturday.
