AT&S invites a Specialist Funding and R&D Excellence to strengthen and manage our network of research, industry, and public funding partners. You will help establish collaborations, prepare and execute funded R&D activities, and maintain partner-related information for AT&S's innovation ecosystem.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Innovation Management, or related field.
• Several years of experience in R&D, innovation management, public funding, collaboration management or project management.
• Strong technical understanding of semiconductor packaging, IC substrate technologies, PCB technologies or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/databases is beneficial.
• Experience collaborating with external partners in industrial or research environments.
• Good understanding of public funding programs and national/European funding is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and German language skills.

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with universities, research institutes, industrial partners, clusters and funding stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate potential collaboration partners aligned with AT&S's R&D priorities.
• Maintain partner relationship management tools, databases, and processes.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and summaries on partner activities and opportunities.
• Support the preparation of national and international funding proposals.
• Facilitate consortium building and stakeholder coordination for R&D projects.
• Promote knowledge sharing through networking activities, workshops, and exchanges.
• Support organization and execution of partner events, forums, and innovation activities.

Specialist Funding and R&D Excellence

In your role, you will work on strengthening and managing AT&S's network of research, industry, and public funding partners. The role supports the identification, establishment, and maintenance of strategic collaborations and contributes to the preparation and execution of (funded) R&D activities. In addition, the position maintains partner-related information, supports consortium building, and helps increase the visibility and effectiveness of AT&S's external innovation ecosystem. Through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the role contributes to the successful execution of AT&S's research and innovation strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with universities, research institutes, industrial partners, clusters, and funding-related stakeholders to strengthen AT&S's innovation ecosystem and collaboration opportunities
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential collaboration partners aligned with AT&S's technology roadmap and R&D priorities to expand strategic networks and create future innovation opportunities
• Maintain and further develop partner relationship management tools, databases, and processes to ensure transparency, accessibility, and quality of partner-related information
• Prepare analyses, reports, and management summaries on partner activities, collaboration opportunities, and innovation ecosystem developments
• Support the preparation of national and international funding proposals to increase public funding opportunities
• Facilitate consortium building and stakeholder coordination for collaborative R&D projects to ensure effective project initiation and execution
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across AT&S and external organizations through networking activities, workshops, and best-practice exchange
• Support the organization, coordination, and execution of partner events, workshops, innovation forums, and networking activities

Your Profile

• University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Innovation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in R&D, innovation management, public funding, collaboration management, project management, or a related area
• (Strong) technical understanding of semiconductor packaging, IC substrate technologies, PCB technologies, advanced manufacturing technologies, or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM, database, or collaboration management tools is beneficial
• Experience in collaborating with external partners in industrial or research environments
• Good understanding of public funding programs, collaborative R&D projects, universities, research organizations, or familiarity with national and/or European funding programs is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders simultaneously
• Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and management summaries
• Fluent English and German language skills
