Qualifications

• 5–7 years of mechanical design and precision engineering.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Good English communication and ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for space payloads and GSE, with CAD models and drawings.
• Design small optical mounts, fits and tolerances, and adhesive joints.
• Select materials considering manufacturing, assembly and operating conditions.
• Support MAIT through assembly instructions and guidance, with hands-on involvement.
• Maintain design documentation and coordinate mechanical interfaces with the interdisciplinary team.
