Job summary

ALPLA Group is seeking an engineering professional in Austria to drive the development and industrialization of innovative recycling technologies, scaling pilots and identifying future plant locations to advance the circular economy.

You will collaborate with partners and engineering teams, analyze technical data, and lead hands-on work to deliver projects across Europe. A technical degree, project experience, and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or comparable technical discipline.
Experience in project management within industrial, chemical or process-related environments.
Experience in chemical plant engineering, process development or industrial scale-up is considered a strong advantage.
Fluent in English; German skills are an advantage.
High willingness to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities

Drive the development and industrialization of solvent based recycling technologies.
Coordinate technical work packages within industrialization projects.
Collaborate with technology partners, suppliers and engineering teams to advance recycling solutions.
Collect, analyze and document technical data and project results to support decision-making.
Assist in planning and executing of pilot activities.
Support the evaluation of equipment, technologies and potential plant locations.
Coordinate project-related activities across internal departments and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the successful delivery of recycling projects through hands‑on technical involvement.
