Job summary

Copa-Data is seeking a software tester to ensure zenon runs reliably in real environments. You will test, analyze, and improve quality with a focus on usability and reliability.

The role involves planning and executing manual tests, creating test concepts, and supporting defect tracking. The position offers flexible hours and a hybrid work setup in Austria.

Qualifications

• For this role, technical education or initial practical experience in software testing or industrial automation is required or beneficial.
• Familiarity with test tools and test environments is desirable.
• Interest in industrial automation is important.
• Clear and confident communication and good English (written and spoken) are needed.

Your Tasks

• Plan and execute manual software tests


• Create test concepts and generate test data


• Perform functional, integration, system, and performance tests


• Analyze and document test results as well as manage defect tracking


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing strategy

Your Profile

• Technical education (e.g., apprenticeship, university of applied sciences, or university) or initial practical experience in software testing or industrial automation


• Familiarity with test tools and test environments


• Experience with Linux is an advantage


• Interest in industrial automation


• Strong self-organization, responsibility, and problem-solving skills


• Clear and confident communication skills


• Good English skills, both written and spoken

For this position, depending on professional experience, at least the classification according to the IT collective agreement in ST1/entry level is provided. The final gross salary is market-conform and depends on your education, qualifications, and experience.
