Job summary

AGFA HealthCare Corporation seeks a Software Engineer for the Diagnostic Imaging Platform. You will contribute to an image-based diagnosis platform spanning desktop and web applications, working in SCRUM teams of about 50 engineers.

You will develop the Enterprise Imaging solution, craft reusable cloud components, and participate in system design and automated tests while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
Experience deploying microservices to a cloud-native environment (Kubernetes).
Experience with automated tests across the testing pyramid.
Practical experience with AI-enabled software development.
Curiosity for new technologies and methodologies.
Bonus: proficiency in TypeScript and Angular.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the high-end Enterprise Imaging solution.
Develop reusable components for cloud-hosted imaging apps.
Participate in planning and design of the system.
Develop automated integration and unit tests.
Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
