Agfa-Gevaert in Wien is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for our Diagnostic Imaging Platform (m/f/d). You will contribute to an image-based diagnosis platform running as desktop and web apps, joining one of several SCRUM teams of about 50 engineers.

You will work on high-end enterprise imaging, build reusable cloud components, participate in system design, and develop automated tests. Knowledge of Kubernetes and AI-enabled development is a plus; remote-friendly with flexible working

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience deploying microservices to Kubernetes or cloud-native environments
• Experience with automated tests at all levels (unit, API, e2e)
• AI-enabled software development experience or workflows
• Curiosity for new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies in software development
• Bonus: Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular

Your tasks are

• development and maintenance of our high-end Enterprise Imaging solution
• development of reusable components for cloud-hosted medical imaging applications
• participation in planning and design of the overall system
• development of automated integration and unit tests
• work with distributed teams across different time zones, bringing together diverse perspectives to solve complex challenges

You’ll bring in

• a bachelor's or master's degreein computer scienceand/or advancedprofessional experience
• Experience with deploying microservices to a cloud- native environment (Kubernetes)
• Experience with automated tests on all levels of the testing pyramid (unit, API, e2e)
• Practical experience with AI-enabled software development, such as integrating AI services or using AI-supported development workflows
• curiosity for new technologies, frameworks, and up-to-date methodologies in software development
• Bonus: Proficiency in Typescript (and Angular)

The minimum salary for this position is 55.000 € p.a. The actual compensation is dependent on qualification and experience.
