Zusammenfassung

JobsinAustria is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and debug software for new products in a semiconductor equipment environment. You will implement customer requirements, maintain code quality, and document solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• HTL Informatik or Computer Science degree required.
• Knowledge of OOS/OOD/OOP including design patterns and finite state machines.
• Knowledge of multithreading and thread scheduling concepts.
• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART communication protocols.

The Role

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
• Implement new customer requirements and features in existing applications.
• Maintain and enhance the existing codebase by investigating and resolving problem areas.
• Demonstrate solutions through clear documentation, flowcharts, and well-structured code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software programs.
• Potentially visit customer sites for support with minimal travel (less than 10%).

What You'll Need

• A technical college degree (HTL Informatik / Computer Science).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software (OOS), Object-Oriented Design (OOD), or Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) implementation and design, including Design Patterns and Finite State Machines.
• Knowledge of multithreading, including preemptive thread scheduling.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C), Service Provider Interface (SPI), and Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter (UART).
