You will be responsible for creating a consistent “one dsm-firmenich” employee experience at every moment that matters. A broad role, working closely with business leaders and the Austria Country Lead. An excellent opportunity for someone to make his/her next development step.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner for "One dsm-firmenich" initiative, deploying planned initiatives across sites/locations in the country, providing efficient, aligned, and lean HR solutions while supporting business needs.
  2. Ensure the ANH carve-out and setup of RemainCo in Austria proceed smoothly.
  3. Foster a growth culture within the matrix setup, upgrading talent through strategic staffing and talent pipeline development (succession planning) for key roles, aligned with dsm-firmenich values and competencies.
  4. Establish and maintain successful HR partnerships across all levels, promoting an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and workforce development.
  5. Oversee day-to-day HR operations, guide and advise Business leaders, and ensure legal and social compliance with local laws and codes of conduct.
  6. Be the country HRBP for the business population in Austria (TTH).
  7. Manage labor relations/unions in the country, coordinating with all sites and engaging with relevant external networks.
  8. Interface with the Romer Labs works council.
  9. Lead change management efforts to support country transformation and growth, driving initiatives and programs locally.
  10. Manage impact, stakeholder engagement, and adoption for new initiatives.
  11. Support Country Leaders and participate in their teams, representing HR to provide a human perspective.
  12. Report to the Central Europe Regional HR cluster manager.

You bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, with relevant HR training.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in senior HR leadership roles, with strong business acumen and ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Strategic, analytical mindset with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Organizational and cultural awareness.
  • High understanding of country employer practices and labor laws.
