AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH seeks a senior software expert for vision, automation and control. You will design architectures for reliable, scalable vision systems and lead development from spike to production, ensuring cyber resilience and high quality software.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with clients and project managers, and help advance research projects with modern C++ and Python expertise. Hybrid work and competitive packages offered in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or higher in CS, Software Eng, Embedded Systems or related field.
• At least 5 years of industrial software development experience.
• Strong communication to guide a development team and work with clients.
• Proficient in modern C++ and Python; experience with Git, CMake, Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, secure development practices.
• Knowledge of sensing, camera tech and factory automation.
