Greentube GmbH in Vienna is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to advance our core platform testing. You will design and implement automated tests using TypeScript, C#, or Java, with Playwright, to deliver reliable backend services powering B2C and B2B products.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment, improve the test automation framework, and investigate production issues to safeguard system stability.

Qualifikationen

• Strong TypeScript, C# or Java programming skills are essential; this role focuses on production-quality automation code.
• Hands-on experience with web application test automation using Playwright.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with SQL or MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with Git, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Cucumber is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and very good command of written and spoken English.

• Support testing activities for releases to maintain stability and reliability in production.

• Carry out test runs, analyze results, and manage bug triage and tracking to drive timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and tooling, not just the implementation of individual test cases.
• Identify and implement improvements in the test automation process to enhance overall quality and speed.
• Support the team in investigating production issues to help maintain system reliability.

Our Core Platform Engineering team builds and evolves the foundation of a high-performing gaming platform used across B2C and B2B products. The focus lies on delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant backend services that power a wide range of gaming experiences. Working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, the team continuously explores modern technologies and approaches to improve quality and innovation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the stability and excellence of the platform through strong test automation practices.

Your tasks

Your profile

• Hands-on experience with web application test automation using Playwright
• Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience working with the databases SQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with Agile development environments and collaborative workflows
• Experience with tools and platforms, specifically Git, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is considered a plus
• Strong communication skills and very good command of written and spoken English
