Qualifikationen

  • 5-10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Netzwerk- und Systemadministration.
  • Erfahrung in der Verwaltung von Cloud-basierten Netzwerken und Infrastruktur.

Aufgaben

Description:

SmartStream Technologies is looking for an experienced System / Network Administrator to join our close-knit but global IT team. This role will be based at our Vienna office and will give you an opportunity to work in a FinTech company with operations across the globe.

The candidate should view themselves as an all-rounder as this is a wide-ranging and varied role where you will be working on various systems and technologies. The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a wider global IT team reporting to the Global Head of IT based in Bristol and providing general IT support alongside junior members of the team.

This is a senior position and so will expect the successful candidate to have 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Day-to-day management of the Global corporate Network including installation of hardware and software components, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  2. An interest in the modernization of network infrastructure and the transition to Cloud-based networking solutions such as SASE and SD-WAN technology.
  3. Implementation, administration, documentation, and operation of network/server solutions.
  4. Helping to administer the internal Production and Development infrastructure.
  5. Interest in cloud technology and the move from on-prem infrastructure/networking to IAAS/PAAS.
  6. Troubleshooting IT issues for our employees.
  7. Support of remote locations where necessary.
  8. A willingness to succeed in a wider-ranging role where every day is a different challenge.
  9. There may be the requirement for some infrequent business travel.
Key Skills
  1. Networking
  2. Cisco Ecosystem including Firewalls - FTD/ASA – Configuration, installation, Cloud FMC, Remote Access VPN, Site to Site VPN, Cisco Switch configuration, VLANs, Layer 2/3, BGP.
  3. Experience in SASE, secure Edge Networking. Cisco/Zscaler/Cato a plus.
  4. Layer 2 and 3 networking, management of network connections.
  5. Experience of Cloud/AWS/Azure based Networking, VPCs etc.
  6. Linux System Administration / Shell Scripting etc.
  7. Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in support of both technical and non-technical users.
  9. A strong commitment to providing first-class customer service.
  10. The ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
  11. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
Desirable Skills
  1. Atlassian Ecosystem incl Bitbucket and Jira.
  2. Netapp Storage FAS or similar - NAS, CIFS, Samba, Oncommand System Manager CLI.
  3. VMware / vCenter.
  4. Server Hardware – HPE/Dell.
  5. Basic experience of Jenkins, Nexus a plus.
  6. AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect a plus.
  7. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Applications.
Qualifications

A degree in a relevant field would be advantageous but is not essential.
