As a System Engineer (all genders), you will coordinate the technical specification, integration and acceptance of the technical solution in so-called Control Centre Solutions and contribute to making the world safer together with us.

Key Tasks

1. Within projects you will be one of the technical contact persons for our customers (e.g. Colombia, France, Bahrain, Japan).
2. You ensure the technical specification, setup, integration and acceptance of a system at the customer site.
3. You will configure and commission commercially available IT and network components in a security-critical environment.
4. The clarification of the technical feasibility, co-design of the system architecture and optimization of the system under cost-benefit aspects are within your scope of activities.
5. As a communicative hub, you coordinate internal and external suppliers, e.g. from the areas of documentation, test department and software development.
6. You will conduct acceptance tests with the customers, the project team and other important stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

1. Ideally, you already have around five years of professional experience as a system engineer or system administrator on medium or senior level.
2. Your technical background is focused on IT, regardless of whether you have completed education, studies or a career change.
3. You have good knowledge and practical experience with Linux, virtualisation, as well as in the field of networks (Layer2 + Layer3) and ideally protocol knowledge (UDP, TCP, Multicast, SIP).
4. You enjoy working with customers from other cultures, your willingness to travel internationally is about 15%.
5. Your very good knowledge of English will enable you to find your way around on business trips, any other foreign language is also welcome.
