Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Senior Consultant to shape client engagements from problem definition through implementation. You will lead analyses, frame questions, and develop actionable recommendations while collaborating with colleagues and clients to drive meaningful change.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, private equity, energy, transportation or similar areas is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities and ability to structure ambiguous business problems.
• Demonstrated collaboration in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences and seniority levels.
• Ownership, adaptability and resilience with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally as client needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on client engagements, structuring analyses and developing actionable recommendations.
• Frame hypotheses, identify key business questions and direct research to generate insights.
• Apply structured problem-solving and analytical thinking to solve complex business issues.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables including presentations, analyses, workshops, models and discussions.
• Work across industries and capabilities, with flexibility to specialize or explore areas before choosing a path.
• Travel within home market and internationally.
