THE CHALLENGE:
As aSenior Software Engineer - Python (m/f/d)for FanID at Sportradar,you will work on various parts of the software stack, contributing to development, testing and documentation. You’ll be part of a collaborative cross-functional team and play a crucial role in delivering quality software that provides business value. This position is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are passionate about using cutting-edge technologies to build scalable, reliable systems. From a technical perspective, we create and manage data cleanrooms usingPythonon AWS. We deploy toAWS Lambdasfor our APIs, which connect toAmazon DynamoDBfor handling mutable data. Big data volumes are stored onS3and transferred to external services as needed. All infrastructure is managed as code(IaC)usingTerraform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain our cloud-native product, from requirements gathering to creating fully functional user-facing software
  • Contribute to technical architecture
  • Participate in designing and developing data-driven, intelligent, and scalable systems while keeping your focus on quality, observability, and security
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders
  • Apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

ABOUT YOU:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in agile software development(Python)
  • Professional experience developing in at leastone high-level programming language
  • Professional experience analyzingcomplex datasets using Pandas, NumPy, etc.
  • Passion forclean code and testing
  • Deep understanding ofdata structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Keen interest innew technologies and learning
  • Familiar withcloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  • Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations.
  • Technical: Theoretical Interview:60 minutes to discuss your technical skills on the theoretical level with the technical team.
  • Technical: Coding Interview:60 minutes of live coding where we do not access the end result but rather the candidate's approach (clean code and thinking process).
  • System Design Interview:60 minutes to solve a high-level problem with certain requirements.
  • Final Steps:Receive final feedback while onsite visit might be requested and, if successful, an offer!

We keep it simple and aim to wrap up the process within3 weeks.

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
