• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Several years of practical experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of C# and web development; experience designing scalable platforms and NoSQL databases.
• Good command of English or German.
• Proactive problem solving and strong communication skills.

Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), 80-100%, in Rotkreuz

smart-me is a leader in smart energy, specializing in intelligent energy management in buildings. Our in-house developed, intelligent metering devices (meters and charging stations) enable comprehensive billing and control solutions for electricity, water, and heat via the smart-me Cloud. Together with our subsidiary eCarUp, which specializes in EV charging station management, we are revolutionizing energy technology and sustainably driving the energy transition forward through our daily work.

Your responsibilities

• You will play a key role in developing our solutions to shape the future of energy management and e-mobility;
• You will strengthen the development team for our cloud environment and our web applications, and you will help shape the technological advancement of our integrated solution;
• You design your programs with both performance and ease of maintenance and expansion in mind;
• You will support the development of an efficient software department for the smart-me platform
• You work efficiently with our stakeholders within an agile framework.

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field;
• You already have several years of practical experience in a similar role;
• You have a strong knowledge of C# as well as experience in web development, designing scalable, decentralized platforms, and NoSQL databases;
• You have a very good command of English or German;
• You proactively identify and overcome complex challenges in software development with an open mindset;
• You enjoy working as part of a team and have strong communication skills;
• If you already have practical experience with large, scalable systems and web development, that would be a plus.
