About the role

This role involves building and maintaining our SDKs used to send events to the Sentry backend. You will also participate in designing and evolving the APIs used to ingest events into the backend.

In this role you will

• Collaborate with Infrastructure and SRE teams to build scalable solutions (we ingest over a billion events daily)
• Plan, implement, and deploy your code end-to-end, including writing unit and integration tests, and creating comprehensive documentation for peers and customers
• Assist Customer Operations in resolving live customer issues caused by SDK bugs in production

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Software Engineer or in a related role (e.g., web developer, SDK engineer)
• Bonus: experience with bundler plugins and build tooling
• Bonus: experience with open source committees or maintaining open source libraries
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Reside in or are willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria

We are legally obliged to quote the minimum wage of EUR 60,844 gross per year, in accordance with the IT-KV collective agreement. The offered salary is adjusted to market conditions, starting at EUR 95,000 gross per year.
