Jobgether is seeking a QA Engineer for the Shopify platform with a weekday rotation. The role focuses on maintaining quality, stability, and performance of a high-volume Shopify commerce platform, during evening or overnight EST hours.

You will perform manual and automated regression testing across storefront, checkout, subscriptions, payments, themes, and third‑party integrations, ensuring rapid issue resolution and production reliability.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional QA/Testing experience in fast-paced settings.
• Strong Shopify ecosystem knowledge including Admin, themes, apps, and storefront architecture.
• Proficient in Shopify Liquid with ability to read template logic to investigate defects.
• Experience with GitHub for branches, PRs, diffs, and issue tracking.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to troubleshoot storefront issues.
• Experience writing structured manual test cases and cross-browser/device testing.
• Excellent written and spoken English and clear asynchronous bug reporting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor live Shopify storefront during assigned shift for bugs and regressions.
• Validate deployments, theme updates, and third-party app integrations; perform smoke tests post-release.
• Execute end-to-end manual and automated regression testing across desktop and mobile checkout flows.
• Write and maintain test cases; perform cross-browser and cross-device validation (BrowserStack).
• Triage and document defects with clear steps, screenshots or videos, and context.
• Collaborate with developers via GitHub issues and PR reviews; help identify root causes.
