Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of QA or software testing experience in ecommerce.
• Strong Shopify knowledge: Admin, themes, apps, metafields.
• Proficient in Shopify Liquid and reading template logic.
• Experience with GitHub, PRs, and issue tracking.
• Solid HTML/CSS/JavaScript understanding for debugging storefronts.
• Excellent written and spoken English for asynchronous bug reports.
• Ability to work independently during evenings/overnights.

Aufgaben

• Monitor live Shopify storefront during shift to identify bugs and regressions.
• Validate deployments, theme updates, and app integrations before and after releases.
• Perform end-to-end manual and automated regression testing across desktop and mobile.
• Write and maintain structured test cases; perform cross-browser tests with BrowserStack.
• Triage and document defects with clear reproduction steps and context.
• Collaborate with developers via GitHub issues and PR comments to validate fixes.
• Prepare shift handoff notes to communicate risks and priorities.
• Respond promptly to uptime alerts; maintain coverage Monday–Friday EST.
