We are looking for an experienced research engineer to lead the development of ion-trap chips (ITCs) at SAL. You will join a highly motivated, international team dedicated to advancing the building blocks of next-generation quantum technology. This position is covered by the Collective Agreement for non-university research employees, starting at occupational group E (E1 salary = EUR 3,963 gross/month, paid 14 times/year) based on a 38.5-hour workweek. The minimum gross annual salary is EUR 61,000, with additional benefits depending on experience and qualifications.
