Job summary

XPENG in Graz, Austria seeks a quality/production engineer to verify processes, drive corrective actions and reduce defects on the assembly line. You will lead root-cause analysis for complex vehicle quality issues and guide contract manufacturers in implementing robust solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with vehicle failure analysis, and the ability to work shifts. English is the working language, and there is potential for a bonus and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of electric vehicle architecture and assembly processes.
• Strong logical analysis, technical troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Proficient English for use as a working language.
• Experience in vehicle failure analysis and technical support during SOP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process verification to identify drift, non-compliance and gaps on the production line.
• Drive corrective actions for quality issues during production and verify effectiveness.
• Analyze process defect and rework rates and prepare quality reports to reduce mass-production risks.
• Lead technical analysis and root cause identification for complex vehicle quality issues.
• Prepare problem reports, corrective action plans and preventive measures; guide contractor teams to implement solutions.
• Adapt technical standards and case studies from HQ to local requirements; share overseas quality cases and build a knowledge base for lessons learned.
