Key Responsibilities
The position is based in Vienna, AT
Project Leadership & Execution
- Oversee the execution of multiple biogas and biomethane projects in various worldwide locations from construction start to handover.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met across all assigned projects.
- Implement standardized project management processes, tools, and reporting structures.
Team Management & Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project/Site Managers.
- Plan and coordinate resource allocation and scheduling for the PM team.
- Provide guidance on problem-solving, risk mitigation, and technical challenges encountered in ongoing projects.
Stakeholder & Contractor Management
- Serve as the main coordination hub between internal engineering, procurement, finance, and site teams.
- Support Project Managers in managing contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure communication transparency and alignment with the Head of Project Management.
Monitoring, Reporting & Quality Assurance
- Monitor project performance indicators (timeline, cost, risk, quality) across the full portfolio.
- Prepare consolidated progress reports for the Head of Project Management and senior leadership.
- Ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld on every project site.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring challenges and propose solutions to improve project delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of company-wide project management methodologies.
- Support onboarding and training of new Project/Site Managers.
Requirements
- Position based in Vienna, Austria.
- Minimum of 3 to 5years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience leading a team of approximately 10 Project Managers and Site Managers.
- Ideally experienced in managing several projects in parallel, rather than only one single site.
- Excellent English skills, ideally at C1 level.
- Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 50% of the time.
