Senior Project Engineer - Defence Infrastructure

You will join the support and development of a maritime infrastructure project. A background in construction, industrial manufacturing or shipbuilding infrastructure is highly regarded. Mid to Senior level available.

Your new role

Various levels available, from mid to senior level infrastructure engineering lead - you will be responsible for developing the Infrastructure Functional Requirements. You will also be responsible for infrastructure related to various maritime facilities, manufacturing and other specialist services. They are looking for strong stakeholder and communication skills, an individual with experience in site master planning, design management experience (preferably leading large industrial sites). Engineering consultancy background (Tier 1 would be ideal), with a strong technical understanding. A background in Building Services or Design Management role would also be favourable. You will be responsible for;

• Responsible for defining the infrastructure required to enable best practice construction.
• Work as part of a large team of experts and undertake design and construction assurance.
• Develop infrastructure functional requirements including technical drawings, data and written requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Undertaking assurance in design and construction.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Previous experience delivering technical projects within the industrial manufacturing or construction industry;
• Specific experience within the Defence Shipbuilding Industry will be highly regarded;
• Experience project managing infrastructure design and construction work:
• NV1 or ability to hold (Australian Citizen), ITAR compliant.
