A progressive SaaS company based in Vienna is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead their product positioning and market communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in product marketing within the SaaS or coffee industries, and will excel in creating marketing materials and enabling sales. The role includes competitive analysis, market research, and cross-department collaboration. A competitive salary between €56K to €65K gross/year is offered alongside various benefits including remote work and professional development opportunities.
As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for positioning our products in the market by effectively communicating their value to potential and existing customers. In this role, you will serve as the crucial interface between the Product Management team and the Marketing and Sales teams, translating technical product features into compelling benefits. Your work will ensure that Cropster’s products resonate with target customers, drive adoption, and differentiate Cropster in the industry.
Lead Go-to-Market Strategies:Develop processes for go-to-market activities with product management, sales, and marketing colleagues to craft product positioning and messaging that align with our target buyer profiles. Identify opportunities to increase product awareness and successfully launch new products.
Create and Manage Marketing Collateral:Develop a range of marketing materials, including data sheets, infographics, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, and more, to clearly articulate the benefits of our products. Support and propose the creation of additional content, such as videos, blog posts, and campaigns, that align with the product’s value proposition.
Increase Product Adoption and Cross-Selling:Partner with product and sales teams to position products effectively, enabling users to discover and understand the benefits of new features and offerings. Promote cross-selling opportunities that continually add value to our product ecosystem.
Sales Enablement:Work with sales, product, and marketing teams to communicate the product’s value proposition clearly, especially during new product launches and updates. Develop and provide the sales team with the necessary tools and training to enhance their sales efforts.
Marketing Events: Together with marketing colleagues, prepare and execute marketing campaigns that are aligned with short and long-term objectives of the products and assess their impact.
Contribute to the Product Business Plans:Together with the Product Managers, contribute to business plans with market research. This includes long-term roadmaps and business cases, yearly budget plans, and quarterly operational plans.
Market Research and Segmentation: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Develop buyer and user profiles to tailor marketing efforts and ensure a strong Product-Market fit.
Monitor and Adjust Go-to-Market Tactics: Continuously monitor campaign and product performance with customer feedback, making data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies and tactics to improve engagement and outcomes.
Significant experience in product marketing, including market and competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and product positioning. Ideally, in a start-up or scale-up, or in the coffee or SaaS industries
A deep understanding of the ERP, hospitality, or coffee industry, including operations such as coffee roasting, cafe management, farming, processing, export, or import
Experience designing and creating collateral and materials, in addition to messaging strategies
Strong communication and public speaking skills, especially when interacting with customers
A business and analytical mindset; ambitious and results-oriented with strong quantitative skills and a keen attention to detail
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments to drive results
Fluency in English
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or with relevant experience
Experience working with Cropster’s products and an understanding of their workflows
Proficiency in marketing tools and CRM platforms
International experience would prove beneficial
The salary range for this position is€ 56K to € 65K gross/year and we look at factors like your experience and individual qualifications to determine our offer.
