About the role

This isn’t design-as-usual. We’re on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer to join our Technology team and pioneer AI-powered user experiences that redefine what enterprise software looks and feels like. This is a career-defining opportunity to shape Quartex’s design + AI DNA from day one.

You’ll thrive if you enjoy leading cross-functional collaboration, shaping product direction through research and insight, and pushing the boundaries of what design can achieve when paired with AI.

At Quartex, you’ll design solutions that:

• Build copilot-style interfaces that anticipate and guide decisions before mistakes happen.
• Leverage platforms like Lovable, ChatGPT Enterprise, and in-product AI assistants to accelerate workflows.
• Deliver self-learning systems that simplify complex compliance and risk tasks into intuitive, human-scale interactions.
• Fast-track discovery and delivery through AI-augmented research, prototyping, and usability testing.

As our newest Senior Product Designer, you’ll also:

• Champion and scale design practices that drive positive product outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.
• Inspire both innovation and legacy teams to adopt design-led approaches.
• Formalise and promote design processes, rituals, and standards across the business.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure outcomes balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility

What You’ll Bring

You’re a designer who sees AI as a tool, not a threat. Someone who:

• Has leadership DNA and warrior mindset
• Has proven UX/Product Design experience but is hungry to push into AI-first interaction paradigms.
• Thrives in ambiguity and wants to codify new patterns for human-AI collaboration.
• Balances rigour and experimentation: quick prototypes today, scalable frameworks tomorrow.
• Is as comfortable facilitating workshops as building in Figma – while letting AI tools take on the heavy lifting.

You’ll also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in UX, cognitive science, psychology, industrial design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in product design, UX, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of design tools, methods, and human-centred design principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional Agile environments
