We are LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics, one of three business units within ams OSRAM, advancing the digitalization of light. We seek a Master-educated engineer to drive data-based control and monitoring of plasma etch processes on-site in Austria, collaborating across departments to solve complex technical challenges.

The role requires several years of technical experience, problem-solving skills with Six Sigma, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Master in engineering or natural sciences or comparable.
• Several years of professional experience in technical areas.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and project-oriented working style.
• Advanced problem solving skills (8D, Six Sigma).
• Independent, responsible and team-oriented way of working.
• Willingness to take on new tasks and solve them as part of a team or as cross-functional technical lead.
• Well organized and able to work with diverse requirements.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.

Aufgaben

• Data-based control and monitoring of the plasma etch process using machine or measurement data.
• Solving process or equipment problems in close cooperation with various departments or external suppliers.
• Evaluating and implementing possible process simplifications/improvements to reduce manufacturing costs, increase process yield and improve product robustness.
• Transferring new technologies to production in collaboration with R&D and process integration.
• Interface with other technical areas (e.g. maintenance, R&D, line control, suppliers, etc.) and other relevant departments (e.g. quality).
