Boehringer Ingelheim in Austria is seeking a highly qualified Pathologist to provide expert pathology review for oncology pre-clinical studies and clinical trials, and to support assay development with IHC, multiplex IF, and digital pathology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive translational research strategies.

Qualifikationen

• MD or D.V.M. degree with completion of an accredited Pathology Residency Training program.
• Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology (EU or USA) preferred.
• Fellowship training with at least 1 year post-training clinical/industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in immunohistochemistry, multiplex immunofluorescence, and molecular pathology.
• Experience with translational assays in clinical trial settings is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Provide expert pathology review and slide interpretation for oncology pre-clinical studies and clinical trials.
• Represent pathology on cross-functional project teams and contribute to scientific decisions.
• Support R&D of primary antibodies, detection systems, probes, and stains.
• Develop and validate novel assays using advanced platforms (IF, IHC, ISH, digital pathology).
• Drive innovation in molecular pathology and translational research with scientific teams.
